1st of October, AFL Grand Final Day, Geelong Vs. Collingwood and Knox Park had mouths to feed for the early morning rush at Bayswater Bunnings.
Today was our Club's turn to flip some sausages to raise funds for our Junior Program. With the weather being just as unpredictable as the numbers that would turn up, we thought that our team of volunteers and Committee members performed brilliantly under pressure (possibly better than the poor old Pies).
Despite working long hours, the atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic and you could definitely feel the positive energy flowing through the tent. It made for a very enjoyable and rewarding day.
All our hard work today will go towards tournament entries, potential sponsorship opportunities and developing our Junior Program throughout the year.
