Pennant
Home and Away Competition Squash
We presently have a large number of Squash teams playing in various competitions that are played both here at Knox Park and all around Melbourne. There are gradings within each competition so there is a suitable competition for all players of all standards.
These competitions include:
State Grade
Knox is fortunate to have a strong presence in State grade with 5 teams playing for the club, including two teams in Premier grade, the highest grade in the state.The club has a long history of Squash at the top level with the current crop of players continuing the trend by regularly making the state finals. Among the players are current and former world ranked players that bring valuable experience to the club.
State Grade pennant is played on a Wednesday night starting at 7:30. It also runs with 4 player system. Full details for the entire competition including all results and ladders can be found at the Squash Matrix.

Masters
Masters is a fun yet competitive mixed pennant, played on Thursday nights from 8pm till the night is over (or the wine runs out!) To be eligible for masters, you must 35 years of age or over if you're male and 30 or over for females.The pennant is played with teams of 4 people, with each of the players ranked from 1 to 4 within the team. When competing against another team, the opposing numbers play each other in a best of 5 match using traditional hand out scoring. At the end of the night, the home team provides supper and drinks for the travelling team.
Masters is the biggest competition at Knox with XX teams at the club, ranging from the lowest grade all the way to the top grade.
